Case Study: Aperol Spritz

Aperol looked to confirm Spritz as the essential first drink of the evening - and what better way than with social?

CHALLENGE:

Famous brand Aperol were looking to extend the reputation of the Aperol Spritz as the first drink of your Summer evening. They wanted their fans to share their experiences on social media, to get the word out and turn #itstartsnow into a rallying cry!

OUR SOLUTION:

Aperol and their agency partners used Hashtag'd to deliver a Social Hub sitting on the brand's Facebook Page (and a separate page for mobile users) showcasing fans of Aperol Spritz with the drink in their hands. Photos, text and short video from Vine, Instagram and Twitter combined to tell the story of their evening with the hashtag #itstartsnow. This was also showcased on live screens at selected venues showcasing selfies appearing in realtime as people around the country kicked off their evenings in style.

THE OUTCOME:

The brand exceeded their expectations in engagement and reach, with a huge library of great creative assets and inspiration for future campaigns.
